ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Kim Campbell was once the young women that she strives to save and help today. She was born and raised in New York. It was there that for a short period of time Kim found herself within the group home system facing the challenges of everyday life not knowing what to do or having anyone to turn to as a young 16-year-old mother. Kim’s passion grew within her to help as many young people as she could when she was faced with the devastating loss of her sister-in-law Kashida, who not only was young at the time of her passing she was also leaving behind her baby boy. Kim turned her pain into passion by becoming a foster mother to many.

That same passion led her to the medical field for 29 years, also working with young teen mothers for 25 years and still going. She’s assisted young women in obtaining government services for themselves and their children so that they didn’t have to go without food or shelter; also aligning them to become hard working independent women who would no longer need the governments assistance to live and provide for their families.

It is her mission to ensure no girl is left to believe they are what they went through, but they are trailblazers who will one day become like Kim and help another girl along their journey who they can see needed the same things they did. A Chance. A chance to heal, a chance to grow, a chance to learn, a chance to Become.
