Our mission is to help, guide, nurture, and restore young girls aged 11 to 21, providing them with the chance to overcome life’s adversities and challenges. We aspire to provide housing and transitional support for girls ages 11-21, fostering an environment where they can overcome challenges and discover their true potential.

The Campbell House is dedicated to improving the quality of life for young girls in Newark and the surrounding Essex County area who are dealing with trauma, self esteem, violent tendencies, and everyday life issues. Our team of Social workers and certified mental health workers are trained in Trust Conflict, Truama, and Crisi Intervention. Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for young girls by addressing the root causes of violence through trauma-informed care and restorative justice practices. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment where these girls can thrive and become positive contributors to society.

In our house we offer a community

Support group sessions and mentorship for young ladies aged 11 to 21.
Assistance with GED attainment, employment seeking, and support for those experiencing teen pregnancy.
Year-round donations through our “Adopt a Family Program” for Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Prom.

We employ an interactive community approach, supporting girls from middle school to college or trade. We collaborate with schools, ensuring our girls are on track academically. We are an LGBTQI-informed community and a safe space for all young women, advocating for those with domestic violence experiences.
